It's no secret: San Diego State basketball has a deep team this year full of familiar faces and some fresh talent. Forwards Dwayne Polee II and Winston Shepard made the preseason All-Mountain West team and forward Angelo Chol was named the preseason Newcomer of the Year.
So who does our SDSU staff think will take home this year's team MVP and Newcomer of the Year?
All but one writer chose either Shepard or Polee to win team MVP, and all but one writer picked Kevin Zabo or Angelo Chol to win team Newcomer of the Year.
