Encino Crespi High football coach Troy Thomas told Eric Sondheimer of the Los Angeles Times late yesterday that Matthew Jacques has committed to play football at Fresno State.
While Sondheimer's brief update mentioned that Jacques was a defensive end, other outlets have the 6-foot-3, 220-pound recruit listed as a tight end/H-back. Jacques also had an offer from San Jose State, but he becomes the second official recruit in Tim DeRuyter's 2014 class.
