Boise’s Borah High School has given the Boise St. Broncos another home-grown recruit. Defensive lineman Hawkins Mann committed to the Broncos over the weekend and will join the list of recruits on Boise State’s 2014 signing class. Mann, 6-4, 215 pounds, had an offer from Army and a visit lined up at Stanford. He had been getting interest from BYU, Utah State, Idaho and Montana before declaring for the Broncos.
Boise State is also in the running for Marin Catholic High School, Greenbrae, Calif., Andrew Celis. The 6-foot, 180-pound running back is considering Boise State along with offers from Idaho, Nevada and Washington State.
For the Broncos he lineup as a wide receiver instead of at running back. Celis is recognized by Rivals as one of California’s top 100 prospects and has a three-star rating.
