2014 college football recruiting: Lineman Dalton Risner has offers from Colorado State, Wyoming

Colorado lineman Dalton Risner has offers from Colorado State and Wyoming, plus he is getting interest from across the country.

Wyoming and Colorado State are both hoping to be in the hunt to land Wiggins, Colo., offensive guard Dalton Risner. Risner has offers from Wyoming and Colorado State, and he will likely pick up other offers across the country/ Missouri is the latest to offer Risner, and Colorado is very interseted.

Despite Risner playing at the 1A level in Colorado he is one of the best players in the state. In his junior year he was named to ROOT Sports All-Colorado selection as well as a first-team all-state honoree this past season. The 6-foot-4, 285-pound lineman plays both offense and defense, this past season on defense Risner recorded 70 tackles and two sacks as a defensive lineman as well as anchoring his teams offensive line.

With his size and recognition as a top player in Colorado, the offers should start to roll in over the next few months.

Risner has been, and will be, busy as he already attended Colorado State's Junior Day and has plans on heading to Junior Days at Colorado, Kansas State and Boise State.

His Junior Day experience at Colorado State was very good:

"I went there and I was really impressed. They gave me a lot of attention, definitely showed love to me. I definitely liked it up there and everything. I went to their summer camp as well, so we've had a really good relationship. Me and (offensive line) Coach (Derek) Frazier were just messaging back and forth through Facebook and I had been calling him every Saturday.

He has unofficial visits to check out Missouri, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Stanford, Oregon and Oregon State this spring.

Risner ultimately wants to have a decision made before his senior year of high school so that he can just concentrate on playing football.
