2013 Mountain West football recruiting: Nevada shoots up the rankings

Signing day is a week away, and here are the latest composite rankings for the Mountain West.

MARCO GARCIA-US PRESSWIRE

With National Signing Day a week away the non-major conferences are adding, and losing, players leading up to the big day of faxes. 247Sports provides a composite rankings, and in just one weeks time the rankings vastly changed.

There have been changes since the past week, but Nevada made a big jump since then. They were No. 12 last week but now they are No. 8, and it likely has to do with new head coach Brian Polian who is a very good recruiter. Being in the bottom quarter of the Mountain West is still not great, but i does beat being ranked last.

Air Force also made a big jump from the 11th to seventh spot in less then a week. Also, look for these rankings to change daily leading up to signing day on No. 6.
