2013 Mountain West football recruiting: Boise State has best class, so far

Boise State currently is in the lead for the best class of the 2013 recruiting season.

Brian Losness-US PRESSWIRE

National signing day is upcoming in the next two weeks, and a lot of the classes are getting finalized. Boise State is currently the top rated team according to the composite rankings of 247Sports, but they are not the run away favorite.

San Diego State, Hawaii and Fresno State are right there next to Boise State, and if a few things change by signing day could have an outside shot of having the best class for the Mountain West.

It is a surprise to see Hawaii so high on the list since they struggled a lot this past season, but playing under Norm Chow as does playing on a tropical island.

A few others early surprises are seeing Nevada at the bottom New Mexico at the middle of the pack. Nevada has not lost a lot of recruits from Chris Ault retiring, so not sure why a team with a very good offense is struggling to bring in players.
