With the 195th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills selected Boise State linebacker Tanner Vallejo. Vallejo, 6'1" and 228 pounds, was rated as the ninth linebacker and 222nd player overall.

Strengths: He is at his best playing middle linebacker and he has great football instincts and is very good at anticipating the play. He also likes to create contact to bring down a ball-carrier, and he always seems to find the best path to make a tackle or play. He has the skills to at times assist in pass coverage.

Teams will like that Vallejo played through a wrist injury for most of the season.
