2017 NFL Draft: San Diego State RB Donnel Pumphrey is drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles

Pumphrey is heading to Philadelphia.

With the 132nd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the Philadelphia Eagles select San Diego State running back Donnel Pumphrey. Pumphrey, 5'8" and 176 pounds, was rated as the 14th running back and 163rd player overall.

Strengths: Here at MWC, we’ve been saying this kid is going to be playing at the pro level. Clearly, his speed and his field vision have gotten him to where he is now. He is the all-time leader in rushing yards in the NCAA, and has surpassed records that were thought to be unattainable. Not only can he accelerate through holes and run north-south, but he can catch passes out the backfield and get into space.
