Week 9 College Football Rankings: Fresno State Moving on Up

Bulldogs climb one spot to No. 18 in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, come in at No. 15 in AP Top 25.

The Fresno State Bulldogs moved up one spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll Sunday, coming in at No. 18 following Saturday's 38-14 defeat of UNLV. The Bulldogs (532 votes) come in just behind previously unranked Auburn (537) -- who vaulted nine spots after upsetting No. 7 Texas A&M on the road -- and well ahead of Virginia Tech (499). Boise State made an appearance in "others receiving votes" category with a solitary tally.

Fresno State continued to fare better in the AP Poll, moving up two spots to No. 15 with 550 votes. See the full AP rankings below.
