The regular season is in the books and the final week of Mountain West had a lot of excitement and unexpected results over the weekend. Air Force beat Boise State for the third-straight year and knocked the Broncos out of conference title contention.

Then on Saturday Colorado State crushed San Diego State and New Mexico easily took care of Wyoming. The Cowboys and Aztecs will play in the Mountain West title game and Wyoming will still host despite the loss to the Lobos.

Nevada won the Fremont Cannon but that was not enough to keep the Wolf Pack from making a change with Brian Polian no longer the head coach at Reno.

Another coach losing his job is San Jose State firing Ron Caragher after this past year where the Spartans went 4-8, and 19-30 overall during his four years in San Jose.
