The Utah State Aggies have had a tough offseason for its coaching staff including losing offensive coordinator Josh Heupel who left for the same job at Missouri and Kevin Clune went to Oregon State to be their defensive coordinator.
The latest loss is an intra-conference loss with special teams and running backs coach Dave Ungerer is heading to Fresno State to coach the same positions, according to Thayer Evans of Sports Illustrated.
He has spent the past three seasons in Logan, Utah, and before that held the same running backs and special teams coaching duties with Washington State. Other coaching stops for Ungerer have been at Alabama, Elon, Cal, Oregon State and others in his 29-year coaching career.
There are only three coaches from the 2015 staff will be on the 2016 staff.
Utah State has Coach Bouknight and Luke Wells on Offense and Shaver on Defense returning. Next year the rest of the staff will be new.

The Aggies dipped to 6-7 this past and losing so many assistants could mean Utah State could be in for a tough year in 2016. They have talent on this team to at least remain bowl eligible and the good news is that the Aggies still have Matt Wells as their head coach and that will help balance out losing so many assistants.
