Week 2 Mountain West football overreaction: Wyoming has RB in the league in Brian Hill

Time to overreact to what happened in Mountain West football this week.

Troy Babbitt-USA TODAY Sports

Here is a knee jerk reaction for each team this week, so take it easy with these likely over the top, so relax with your hate comments because these are half truths and fun.

Air Force: Les just send out the invitations, book those hotels and flights because the Falcons are undefeated and going to the Fiesta Bowl.

Boise State: If you can't handle a nut punch then you don't deserve to win a football game, or you know have an offense in the fourth quarter. Also, isn't that a Honor code violation?

Colorado State: Head coach Mike Bobo made the right call by pulling Nick Stevens in favor of backup Coleman Key. Who cares that All-American wide receiver Rashard Higgins was out, Stevens has plenty to work with and he couldn't get it done. Those two interceptions didn't help.

Fresno State: Just drop football. Really, give it up and start an ultimate frisbe team because they probably will never give up 73 points like they did against Ole Miss, I think.

Hawaii: Not passing for 100 yards would make Timmy Chang cry, good job Max Wittek and Norm Chow, you made the second most famous Hawaii quarterback cry.

Nevada: Alex Boy should be named the Wolf Pack MVP this week. He had a long play of 63 yards which was a punt.

San Diego State: Is Nick Bawden available to play quarterback?

Utah State: Chuckie Keeton is done, he should have left the game after seeing him limp for most of the game and not being able to play to his abilities.

San Jose State: Come on rush defense you can't give up 103 yards and three rushing touchdown in the fourth  quarter to Falcons running back D.J. Johnson.

Wyoming: Running back Brian Hill is the  front runner for offensive player of the year with his great performance rushing for 242 yards and two touchdowns.

New Mexico: So much for that improved defense. Lobos won't get to a bowl game by giving up 40 points to any team. Back to the basement for them.

UNLV: Go back to high school Tony Sanchez, especially if you can't bet a top-14 team like UCLA at home, what a disgrace.
