Mountain West championship game 2015: Air Force, San Diego State clinch division

San Diego State won the West and Air Force won the Mountain Division and will play for the conference title.

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

With one week left in the regular season the Mountain West title game is set.

The San Diego State Aztecs clinched the West Division after Nevada's loss to Utah State.

On the Mountain side, the Air Force Falcons clinched after beating Boise State on Friday and then New Mexico losing to Colorado State Saturday afternoon.

San Diego State is currently 6-0 in league play while Air Force is 6-1; the Aztecs have a game Saturday night and next week, while the Falcons have one game remaining.

Neither of these teams play each other this year so the location of the title game is still up in the air.

Neither team is expected to be ranked in the College Football Playoff top 25, and since they don't face off the next tiebreaker comes from the old BCS computers. Those numbers will be finalized after the regular season.

The championship game will be played on Saturday, December 5 and at 7:30 p.m. ET.
