Mountain West football Week 8 TV listings

There is a big Friday night matchup that could be a conference title preview.

Rob Gray-USA TODAY Sports

This is a big week for the conference so schedule your Friday night and Saturday accordingly. The big game is Friday night on ESPN2 between San Diego State and Utah State which features both teams undefeated in conference play, and this has a very good chance of being a rematch later this year.

As for Saturday, finding games is a little bit of an adventure as Fresno State vs. Air Force is streaming only and Hawaii at Nevada is on Time Warner Oceanic. The later games are on ROOT SPORTS and then just one ESPN2 tilt on Saturday has Boise State looking to rebound against Wyoming.

That ROOT SPORTS game between New Mexico and San Jose State has the potential to be the most interesting game on Saturday with both teams having a good running attack but not much of a defense.
