Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl is now official

The Arizona Bowl will officially debut this season and the last issue to make sure the bowl would happen is that a naming rights was finally secured. The official title of the bowl will be the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl. If the naming rights was not secured then this bowl game would never have happened.

The bowl game has been in the works for months and it will feature the Mountain West,  Conference USA plus the Sun Belt is involved as well. This game will be played at the home of the Arizona Wildcats in Tucson, Arizona, with kick off on Dec. 29 at 5:30 p.m. MT.

This bowl game will be streamed Campus Insiders and will become the first entity to stream a bowl game, but there also will be a linear TV partner in this game and will be announced down the road.

There are now 41 bowl games which is two more than last year and that number means that nearly two-thirds of all FBS teams will have a path to go bowling.

The Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl will be the Mountain West's seventh bowl tie-in.
