The Mountain West has released their 2014 football schedule this Thursday afternoon. The opponents were already known for the conference season, but now we have the dates of those games -- times will be determined at a later date.
We also will breakdown these schedules in more detail over the next little while.
Some of these dates may change since ESPN in is in the mix, and this past year there were a handful of Thursday and Friday night games. Those changes will be announced in the upcoming weeks, and there will be plenty of changes.
The season opens up with a Thursday showdown between Boise State and Ole Miss in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome, and the season ends with the Mountain West title game once again being on Saturday night on Dec. 6.
There are a few good games on the final weekend of the season including Nevada at UNLV and also Utah State at Boise State. However, not sure why Colorado State vs. Wyoming is not on that same final weekend since it is a big rivalry game.
In the meantime take a look at the complete schedule.
