A native from American Samoa, Scheyenne Sanitoa will join the Hawaii roster as a safety. Coming our of Saomana High School he was a bright spot in the JPS Paradise Classic at Aloha Stadium.
While playing in the classic, he got 2 interceptions in the championship game and earned defensive MVP honors.
In high school, he also starred in baseball and track. Sanitoa was even named to the ASHSAA Baseball All-Star second team. For track, he got to represent his country in the sprints at the IAAF World Youth Championships in Colombia.
As a football recruit, Sanitoa has a two-star rating from Scout.
