Hawaii will continue its bid for first-team, all-America Awesome-Name team with their addition of King James Taylor. The California native lined up primarily as an offensive lineman but has played on the defensive line as well.
Taylor attended Narbonne High School in Harbor City, California.
As a senior, he recorded 26 pancake blocks (blocks that put his assignment on his ass). On defense, he registered 9 tackles with one sack.
Taylor was instrumental to Narbonne High's first CIF State Division I-A Football Championship.
For his efforts he earned all-City Division I honors.
As part of the 2016 recruiting class Taylor received a two-star rating from Scout.
