C.J. Johnson highlights

C.J. Johnson is a wide receiver that committed to the Cowboys back on June 3rd. Offensively he had 1,214 yards and 20 touchdowns on 63 receptions this past season  He owns the Nebraska Class A single-season and career records for receptions and receiving yards in addition to the Class A mark for career receiving touchdowns. Johnson’s 3,548 career receiving yards also constitute an all-class state record.

He is the son of former Nebraska Cornhusker Clester Johnson Sr., who played for Nebraska back during their title run in the mid 90's.  C.J. seriously considered Nebraska along with Wisconsin outside of the tendered offers.  Johnson was named the Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year and he was rated as a 3-star prospect per Rivals.
