Wyoming has landed their fourth official verbal in the 2015 recruiting class (Oklahoma ATH Dameko Doddles has verbally committed but yet to visit campus yet) in 6'7", 250-pound offensive tackle Zach Wallace out of Lake Zurich, Illinois.
Wallace is the first lineman to verbal to the Cowboys but he hasn't always played that position. He has played some tight end during his high school career but he is projected to be a offensive tackle in college. Offensive tackle is definitely a position of need looking into the future. He helped led Lake Zurich to the class 7A State Title game last season.
The Cowboys won out on Wallace's commitment over offers from MAC programs Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. He and his family had visited Laramie last week and liked what they saw. One big draw for Wallace was Wyoming's efforts to build a Tier I Engineering student. Wallace would like to major in mechanical engineering.
