Air Force came from behind to defeat Wyoming with a solid second half.

Wyoming fell to pesky Air Force on the road, 70-62, Tuesday night. The Cowboys were in full control in the first half, coming out of the gates rolling. They grabbed an early 18-8 lead and grew it to as large as 36-22 as the half went on.

However, the Pokes let up an opportunity to put their foot on the gas and close the game.

With 1:18 left in the first half, Air Force's most prolific player, Hayden Graham hit back-to-back jumpers and then knocked down a buzzer beating 3-pointer to bring his team within six.

In the second half, Air Force changed their approach by continually attacking the basket leading to 21 free throw opportunities. Air Force converted on 16 of them while Wyoming shot a miserable 28.6 percent (6 for 21) from the field.

Josh Adams notched 20 points, his 17 game this season with at least 20 points. However, the senior was inefficient field, going 6-for-19. Jason Macmanamen continued his solid play with 17 points (4-of-6 from 3pt).

Alan Herndon, the Cowboys best post player was non-existent in second half, scoring only 1 point after he scored 10 points in the first half. Herndon's play is key, as he plays well so does Wyoming.

Graham finished the game with 23 points. Center Frank Toohey and guard CJ Spilles each chipped in with 13 points.

The win snaps an eight-game losing streak for Air Force that spans back all the way back to January 6th, where they lost to Wyoming in Laramie. Tonight's win gives Air Force's their second victory in Conference, although it is still not shocking Air Force looked so good. The Falcons have played well in Clune Arena, losing to Nevada, Colorado State, and Fresno State by a total of eight points.

Up Next for Wyoming is a trip back to Laramie and a Saturday matinee matchup with Utah State.
