Colorado State vs. Wyoming preview: Border War continues in Fort Collins

Who will win this edition of the Border War?

Troy Babbitt-USA TODAY Sports

The 225th Border War is a must win for the Colorado State Rams and the Wyoming Cowboys.

The Rams look to snap a couple of losing streaks on Saturday against the Cowboys. While both limp into the game losers of their last two, the Rams have also lost their last four against their arch rivals to the north.

The Rams (14-12,6-7) are hoping that the friendly confines of Moby Arena will help cure their ailments of late. First it was 20 plus turnovers against UNLV then ice cold shooting in the second half against Utah State.

There is still a chance for the Rams to lock up that coveted fourth seed in the upcoming Mountain West Tournament but they have to find a way to right the ship against the Cowboys.

Turning things around is easier said than done when the conference's leading scorer comes riding into town. The Cowboys senior guard Josh Adams averages almost 24 points per game although he has been well below that in his last three games averaging only 17 points per game.

Tip off for Saturday's game is scheduled for 2pm MST and can be see on CampusInsiders.com or on the Mountain West Network.
