Colorado State has been anything but boring in conference play. Their three conference games have been decided by a total of six points with two of those games coming down to the game's final shot.
They'll need to use that confidence and more when San Diego State comes calling Wednesday night at Moby Arena.
It will be San Diego State's (10-6, 3-0) first game in a week and the Aztecs are starting to show signs of life offensively. The Aztecs are still dead last in the Mountain West in scoring (66.2 points a game) but it's been their defense that has them fighting for the top spot in the Mountain West. San Diego State are eighth nationally in scoring defense, limiting their opponents to 60.4 points a game.
The Rams lead the Mountain West in scoring (82.4 points a game) and will need another solid night shooting from the field from their starters and their bench.
J.D. Paige has been a lifesaver off the bench the last two games and they'll need him to step again. Most important for the Rams is to limit the turnovers.
They've had 29 turnovers the last two games. Double-digit turnovers against a top 10 scoring defense is a recipe for their second conference loss of the season.
Tip off is slated for 8 p.m. MT and can be seen on CBS Sports Network
