2013 Mountain West tournament: Results, bracket updates

An updated look at the Mountain West tournament bracket.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Wyoming's 85-81 win over Nevada allowed for the quarterfinal bracket to be set for Wednesday afternoon and evening, and this is when the real fun for this tournament begins. These four games all have a decent chance of having the underdog winning, yes even Wyoming over New Mexico.

Wyoming will need to play one heck of a game to upset the top team in the league, but with Leonard Washington back for the Cowboys that gives them at least a shot to be competitive.

The game of the day is more than likely going to be the midnight eastern tip between Boise State and San Diego State. A Boise State win likely secures their place in the NCAA tournament, while a loss just maybe knocks them out.

The best possible chance for an upset is Air Force taking out host UNLV. The Falcons defeated the Rebels by double-digits at Clune Arena, and only lost by five in overtime at the Thomas & Mack Center.
