The latest college basketball polls are out and Colorado State and New Mexico are the only two teams in the Mountain West who are ranked. New Mexico moved up to No. 16 in both polls, and Colorado State moved up to the No. 21 spot in the coaches poll at No. 22 in the AP poll.
Both Colorado State and New Mexico move up since they each won both of their games this past week. Colorado State got past San Diego State and Air Force, while New Mexico defeated Fresno State and Boise State.
Then there is San Diego State who lost to UNLV, and that loss dropped them from the coaches poll -- the Aztecs were not ranked in the AP poll last week.
The rankings will likely feature a shakeup next week for Mountain West teams as Colorado State and New Mexixo square off on Saturday.
