There is some good news for Mountain West basketball fans, particularly Boise State, New Mexico and Wyoming fans. ROOT SPORTS has picked up 14 additional games to be broadcast throughout the non-conference and conference slate.
The only restrictions are those who fall into the territorial area of the Utah Jazz, so if there is a Jazz game on then that will take the place of the college game. So for me, I will likely be out of luck on any of those broadcasts that overlap. Also, the deal was made to allow school websites to stream these games, outside of the ROOT SPORTS foot print.
Here are the games that will be broadcast (all times Mountain):
Nov. 25 - Portland at New Mexico, 6 p.m.
Nov. 28 - Mercer at New Mexico, 7 p.m.
Dec. 1 - Colorado at Wyoming, 8 p.m.
Dec. 8 - Valparaiso at New Mexico, 7 p.m.
Dec. 22 - South Dakota State at New Mexico, 1 p.m.
Jan. 9 - Boise State at Wyoming, 8 p.m.
Jan. 16 - New Mexico at Boise State, 7 p.m.
Jan. 26 - Air Force at Wyoming, 8 p.m.
Jan. 30 - New Mexico at Wyoming, 7 p.m.
Feb. 6 - Air Force at New Mexico, 7 p.m.
Feb. 16 - Boise State at New Mexico, 7 p.m.
March 2 - Wyoming at New Mexico, 3 p.m.
March 6 - Colorado State at Wyoming, 8 p.m.
*Additional game featuring Boise State will be announced in December.
