The Mountain West baseball tournament gets going on Wednesday in Reno, Nevada with No. 6 seeded UNLV taking on No. 7 seeded San Jose State. This is a play-in game for the tournament with the loser out of the tournament.
After that opening round game, the tournament is double-elimination the rest of the way, and the tournament has the possibility of going through Sunday.
Nevada is the huge favorite and should win this tournament but if they do not win the conference tournament a trip to the NCAA tournament should still be safe as long as the Wolf Pack win at least one game this week.
