Mid-Major top-10: Fresno State, Northern Illinois remain at the top of our ballot

The top two spots stay the same in the latest Mid-Major poll, but there also was some correction this week.

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

The second week of our Mid-Major poll from various SB Nation sites will be released on Tuesday morning, but below is this sites ballot. A quick refresher of the sites involved are Hustle Belt, who is in charge of the poll, Vanquish the Foe (BYU), UB Bull Run (Buffalo) and Cowboy Altitude (Wyoming).

Our poll last week can be seen here and this week's poll has some correction that should have been made in the first week. The top two spots stay the same with Fresno State and Northern Illinois, but Ball State jumps up to the No. 3 spot since they are 6-1 and have won four straight games. They have an odd loss to North Texas back in middle of September, but they have just one loss which justifies their correct placing this week.

Boise State drops a spot as dose BYU to the third and four spots. The Cougars were a bit high with a pair of loses, and while the Georgia Tech win was solid but the adjustment was necessary after an over ranking.

Here is the latest poll, and of course bring your compliments or complaints.
