Bowl rumors seem to be all the rage over the past few months. There has been rumors about a Christmas Bowl, sending a team overseas to Dubai or even Ireland and other bowl matchups. The latest bowl news has a game set up in Boca Raton, Fla. Too bad the Mountain West could not get in on the Bahamas Bowl that is going to be a real thing in 2014.

C-USA is expected to play the MAC in the Bahamas Bowl and either the American Athletic or Mountain West Conference in Boca Raton, sources said.
Playing a bowl game in Boca Raton, Fla., does fit in Craig Thompson's goal of adding a bowl game in the Southeastern part of the United States. There is no clear indication if the MAC, American or Mountain West will rotate in that spot.
Getting a foothold in a Florida bowl game would be a good thing to expanding a recruiting base, plus they get to play at Florida Atlantic's stadium which formally known for a while as "Owlcatraz." However, it looks like it will be the MAC vs. Conference USA, at least as of now.
