Boise State loses 16 seniors next year, and needs at least 20 new players to fill their 2014 roster. That number got a little smaller with Broncos’ latest recruit bringing the number of verbal commitments to 12. David Moa is a big, talented 6-4, 260 pound defensive end out of Kearny High School, San Diego, CA. Moa had been on the Broncos front burner for some time and the coaches brought him to Boise State last week following his official visit to Oregon in October. Before throwing in with the Broncos, Moa also had offers from BYU, Colorado, Portland State and Montana.
Moa joins OT Troy Bacon, 6-3, 281 lbs, a three-star rated senior out of Apple Valley HS in Apple Valley, California, and ATH Kekoa Nawahine, 6-2 , 190 lbs, a dual-sport letterman out of Rocky Mountain HS, Meridian, Idaho as the latest prospects pledged to play for the Broncos. Those two were reported here last week.
