Conference play is in full swing for Mountain West football, and this week there are just four games on the docket. The early tilt is the Border War between Colorado State and Wyoming, with the Rams looking for their first conference win and the Cowboys will be looking to inch ever so closely to earning bowl eligibility.
The rest of the games start an hour apart in the evening hours, and it all starts with another rivalry game between Nevada and Boise State, yet both teams aren't what we though this season.
Utah State and New Mexico could have some interest since the Lobos are suffering injuries at the quarterback spot, and the Aggies defense is stout enough to slow down the pistol run-based attack of New Mexico.
The night game has the attention of myself with Fresno State hosts a hot UNLV which has won four straight games. The only problem is that this game is online only over at Campus Insiders, and a bit late in the night with a 10 p.m. ET kick off. Too bad ESPN didn't pick up this late night affair since UNLV has been on the rise of late, but these games are usually made two weeks ahead of time and UNLV may have been a risky play ratings wise. There is no late ESPN or ESPNU game, but just a Pac-12 10:30 p.m. ET kick on ESPN2.
There is a news development regarding Fresno State vs. UNLV, and that is that the game will be streamed live here on our website at 10 p.m. ET, thanks to Campus Insiders.
Nonetheless, here is your Week 8 Mountain West viewing schedule.
