Picking a top game for this week is going to be tough, so I will go with San Diego State at Fresno State.
Mainly because, San Diego State is, well, umm, a decent team, I guess; while Fresno State has a great combination at quarterback with Derek Carr and running back in Robbie Rouse who is fourth in the country. The way that San Diego State plays up, or down, to their competition this game in theory should be a good matchup.
The Boise St. Broncos and New Mexico Lobos game has intrigue since we will see if the Broncos can actually put points on the board, and not to spoil it for anyone, they will. This also gives us a chance to monitor how New Mexico's run first, pistol offense fares against a Boise State defense that has given up yards this year.
When the UNLV Rebels travel to take on the Utah State Aggies this weekend, we will see if the Rebels surprise win over Air Force last week was for real. Also, a matchup to see if is UNLV running back Tim Cornett can make a dent against a very strong defensive front that Utah State brings to the table.
Nevada at Texas State better result in a blowout for Nevada.
Air Force looks for a chance to rebound from an embarrassing loss to UNLV when they go up against Colorado State. The Falcons should win since they have the best player on the field in running back Cody Getz, while Colorado State has a good running back in their own with Chris Nwoke, but he has been hampered with an ankle injury the past few weeks.
