The NBC Sports Network will be hosting a Mountain West football triple-header, and for those who have DirecTV the channel has moved to 220.
With the league title is now firmly up for grabs after Boise State fell to San Diego State this last weekend. There are two huge games this weekend, and they are the two bookend games. Air Force takes on San Diego State in the first matchup with Fresno State vs. Nevada is the night cap.
While Air Force is 5-4, they are very much in the conference race with a a 4-1 league record. San Diego State is 5-1, and a win will keep them atop the league. What to expect from that game is unknown, since Air Force is an up-and-down team, while San Diego State plays to the level of who they play, so this could be a wild game.
As for Nevada vs. Fresno State, the Wolf Pack are in a must win situation if they want to have a shot at the league title since they have two loses. This game should be an excellent one with a pair of very good offenses, and as I will be reminded, Fresno State's excellent pass defense.
It is also too bad that the New Mexico vs. Wyoming game is not widely distributed since the Lobos are wearing some pretty sweet American flag helmet.
