ABC to broadcast Boise State vs. Nevada game

The Boise State vs. Nevada game will be broadcasted regionally on ABC this Saturday.

The Boise St. Broncos are getting a huge recognition boost when they travel to play the Nevada Wolf Pack next Saturday. The game was to be on any of the ESPN family of networks, and the game will be broadcasted regionally on ABC, with a kickoff time set for 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will be shown on ESPN or ESPN2 for those who do not get the game on ABC.

With Boise State knocking on the door of a BCS bowl bid due to the No. 15 - 21 teams losing on Saturday, being on ABC will definitely help their cause. The Broncos will still need to go into Reno, and provide a big time win to impress voters enough to help them stay, or move into the coveted No. 16 spot.

Besides putting in a dominant performance, Boise State will need to stay ahead of the MAC champion. That title game is next Saturday between Kent State and Northern Illinois. Both teams are 11-1, and Kent State is right on Boise State's tail in the BCS standings, while Northern Illinois should enter the BCS rankings this week.
