TCU opens as 4.5 point favorite over Utah

Apparently Vegas didn't get the memo that TCU has never won in SLC. Personally I thought the line would be under 3. It will be interesting to see if the line drops as I would imagine the wise guys would be all over Utah +4.5.

Boise State, Michigan State schedule 3-Game Football Series

4

"Two contracts were signed for this series, a single-game contract for 2012 and a home-and-home contract for 2022-23. Michigan State will host Boise State at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing on Friday, August 31, 2012. This season-opener for both schools will be televised by ESPN." Not sure why they scheduled the game for 2012 instead of 2011, Boise State needs 2 more non-conference games to fill out their 2011 schedule. HT: VA Libertarian

UNLV adds Southern Utah to finish out 2011 Non-Conference schedule

4

I think this is a good move for UNLV, they had a relatively tough non-conference schedule with Nevada, Hawaii, @Wisconsin and @Washington State already on the schedule, getting a 50-50 record or better out of the non-conference was going to be tough. Now with Southern Utah the real question is will they beat Hawaii at home, WSU and SUU are going to be wins and Nevada and Wisconsin are for sure losses.

Culture and Belief the Winner over Talent

TCU mentioned as an example of culture over talent along with other top teams.
