A few notes:

· Our QB room is very young and inexperienced. Green will obviously be the starter and I think we'll see small amounts of both Madsen and Tiller. Boise may still go to the transfer portal to get a more experienced backup.

  • TE is pretty clear. Starter Riley Smith will lead the way but it will be some newer faces behind Smith with Jack Baresford the most likely backup

· The O-line is almost entirely new which is usually a scary thing but may be a good thing in this case. the concern here is depth.

  • The Defensive line. see O-line. new faces and depth concerns

· LB is a spot of concern with so little experience. Zeke Noa is gone, DJ Schramm is the clear Starter at WLB. Julian Simpson showed flashes last season and could compete with highly touted Dishawn Misa for some playing time in the middle.

· The secondary has some big holes to replace with JL Skinner, Tyreque Jones, Caleb Biggers and Tyric LeBeauf all gone. Markel Reed and Kaonohi Kiniho are favorites at CB, Seyi Oladipo would be a good fit at Nickel, and Rodney Robinson and Titus Toler are both experienced safeties.

  • Special teams looks great with Jonah Dalmas and James Ferguson-Reynolds back.

Overall The offense is likely one of the best in the conference this season and the Defense has a lot of peices to replace.

Top Players:

Offense - Taylen Green - Can he take the next step and become the QB we know he has the potential to be?

Honorable mentions - Ashton Jeanty, George Holani, Cade Baresford

Defense - DJ Schramm - He had somewhat of a breakout season last year, can he do it again in 23?

Honorable mentions - Seyi Oladipo, Ahmed Hassanein, Koanohi Kaniho

Special Teams - Jonah Dalmas - The best kicker in the country?

Honorable mentions - James Ferguson-Reynolds
