In football, one of the best athletes is TCU quarterback Andy Dalton. Dalton played college football at TCU from 2007 to 2010. During his time at TCU, he established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the country. He was named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010, and he led TCU to an undefeated regular season and a Rose Bowl victory in 2010. Dalton was selected in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, where he has since become the team's starting quarterback.

Kellen Moore

Another standout football player is Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore. Moore played college football at Boise State from 2008 to 2011. During his time at Boise State, he set numerous records and led the Broncos to several big victories. He was named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2011, and he was a Heisman Trophy finalist that same year. Moore was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2012, and he went on to spend several years in the NFL before retiring in 2018.

Lolo Jones

In track and field, one of the best athletes is Lolo Jones. Jones competed in both track and field and bobsledding at the Olympic level. She doesn’t fail to impress fans as she’s still active. She attended Louisiana State University, which was a member of the Mountain West Conference from 1999 to 2001. During her time at LSU, Jones was a two-time NCAA champion in the 60-meter hurdles. She went on to compete in 2008, 2012, and 2014 Winter Olympics, winning two medals in bobsledding.
