It’s Tuesday and the links keep coming, We are one step closer to bowl games on Saturday. But until then, check out our content and some of the top Mountain West news.

Mountain West Football Attendance.

This year, the Mountain West finished 7th among the 10 conferences with an average attendance of 23,223 per game, being narrowly beaten by the AAC. While they are significantly higher than the other three conferences, it was a missed chance to surpass the American, who experienced a significant decrease with the shuffling of teams this season. To be fair, it was a successful season for the Mountain West, as they saw their highest average attendance since the 2017 season. Looking at teams, Fresno State and Boise State led the way and were the only two teams who averaged more than 30K a game, and both were way above that number. However, five teams averaged less than 20K per home game. Overall, nine teams saw an increase in attendance from last year, with Colorado State, Air Force, and being the only ones to lose fans from last year. Quite a few teams saw drastic increases and one of course saw a big decrease in attendance.

Bohl looks to end with a win.

He is 60-60, so there is something riding on this one, in addition to wanting to go out with a win. While he never reached the lofty heights he accomplished at North Dakota State, but he raised the bar at Wyoming during his tenure. Read about all this and more.

The All-American honors keep rolling in for the Mountain West. And the usual suspects keep collecting the accolades. While no MW player was on the first team, three players donned the second team. That trio was RB Ashton Jeanty, TE Dallin Holker, and K Jose Pizano. The three on the third team were WR Ricky White III, S Trey Taylor, and P James Ferguson-Reynolds.
