This game was a little different than the previous. Colorado State was able to hang with Colorado earlier this year in one of the years most exciting games. This was going to be a tough test for the young Rebel team.

Coming out of Halftime, the Rebels scored 16 unanswered points, including an 11-yard score from Lester to put them up 19-13 with a little more than 7 minutes in the 4th quarter left. Colorado State answered back with a touchdown of their own putting them up 20-19 after the extra point. The Rebels then drove down the field and kicked a field goal with 1:15 left. The Rams then kicked a 55-yard field goal with 49 seconds left to put them up 23-22.

The Rebels took the remaining time to drive down the field which including two 20+ yard catches in crunch time by White and WR Jacob De Jesus to put the Rebels on the Colorado State 10 yard-line. K Jose Pizano kicked a 27-yard field goal as time expired to walk it off for the Rebels.

Rebels win 25-23. Pizano named Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week. The Rebels became bowl eligible after the thrilling win.
