Anderson: North Dakota will pose a ‘huge challenge’ that the Aggies should not take lightly

The Utah State Aggies are flying high right now after a statement victory in Pullman last Saturday. Head coach Blake Anderson is warning his Aggies about complacency this week, with 9th-ranked North Dakota of the FCS coming to Logan. I cannot imagine a more whiplash beginning to a coaching regime than beating a P5 team on the road in Week 1, and then losing to an FCS school the following week, but that’s precisely the danger Anderson is alerting his team to. Aggies should be fine tomorrow. Aggies host UND on Friday at 7 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network.

Boise State defends The Blue against the Miners of UTEP

Utah State isn’t the only Mountain West team in action tomorrow night. Boise State returns home to host UTEP, who is surprisingly 2-0 to start the season. Hey, when your best season since 2006 is a 7-6 campaign, a 2-0 start is notable. Boise State only lost by five points at UCF, but the box score suggests the Broncos were dominated. The Broncos have Oklahoma State, Utah State, Nevada, BYU, and Air Force after this game. Last chance to impress before things get tough for Avalos’ Broncos.
