University of Hawaii football players’ parents’ plea to attend games rejected

Things are starting to turn ugly at Manoa. Once again, Hawaii will play in front of no fans for this weekend’s nationally-televised game against San Jose State. UH athletic department has pitched a strong, safe plan to the state, but was rejected again. Read about the drama above.

Despite being a betting-line favorite, Nevada getting $1 million to play at Kansas State

Kansas State was dealt an enormous blow when quarterback Skylar Thompson hurt his ankle. The Wolf Pack were already eying a P5 road win, and Thompson’s exit only helps that cause. Add in Nevada picking up $1 million to play in this game, and well the Wolf Pack are aiming to steal KSU’s lunch money on Saturday.
