Boise State assessing their facilities.
Last week, in between all the negative headlines the Broncos were receiving about their Covid restrictions, they announced the hiring of an independent firm to evaluate their facilities. The partnership with AECOM’s sports practice and the assessment is expected to take four to six months. AD Jeramiah Dickey calls this the first step in order to determine where they need to be program-wise to compete on a national level.
5 Keys for the Rams.
Fall camp questions posts are all the rage on the beat writer front, and they serve a purpose guiding fall camp storylines. For Colorado State, the questions are: is Todd Centeio the answer at quarterback, can they develop offensive playmakers after McBride and Wright, can the defensive line take the next step forward, how will the rebuilt secondary look, and how can the disastrous special teams unit be improved upon?
Utah State fall camp opens.
The Aggies are looking to rebound from last year’s 1-5 campaign, but the biggest challenge will be blending the roster. While the team returns 9 starters and 44 letter-winners from last year, there are also 39 first-year Aggies. That number includes 15 transfers from FBS programs, 9 of which were once at a Power 5 program. The balance could end up being a strength but everyone needs to get on the same page first.
