Mountain West wants teams vaccinated for COVID-19. Here’s what happens if they aren’t
The boogeyman that is COVID-19 might not be totally in the rearview mirror for Mountain West football (or society for that matter). Read what Commissioner Craig Thompson has to say above. Mountain West programs would be wise to catch up in vaccination rate before opening day.
Boise State, Nevada Picked to Win 2021 Mountain West Football Divisional Titles
Flame away, Mountain West fans. Boise State has won the Mountain Division every year since 2017, so while vulnerabilities exist for the 2021 Broncos on paper, it’s understandable why they're the pick here. Nevada might be the best team in the conference on paper, but historically “preseason #1 in the West Division” has been a cursed title. We shall see. Football!
UH-Manoa signs athletic apparel deal with Adidas
It’s not Mountain West media days without hyping new jerseys! Hawaii was with Under Armour for the longest time. Not anymore! It’ll be Adidas for football immediately, and the entire athletic department starting in 2022-2023.
