Decentralizing college sports.
Mark Emmert, the leader of the NCAA, said now is the time is right to decentralize and deregulate college sports. This would shift power from the NCAA to conferences and campuses and reconsider how schools are aligned. While this isn’t happening anytime soon, it is the direction things have been heading for quite a while.
