MWC Recruiting Roundup 6-14-21. June is for recruiting camps (and commits).

It’s another week of the MWC Recruiting Roundup.

Recruiting feels like recruiting again with players allowed to visit campuses. Schools couldn’t wait to host recruits, with many visits coming during the week as soon as the calendar turned to June. As can be seen below, offers, visits, and even commits are happening in full force, which is fun for those who follow it.

Ten of the twelve teams handed out an offer. Likewise, (at least) ten of twelve teams hosted visitors in some capacity. That’s not even including campers, which gets a separate category in our roundup. On the commitment front, 16 players found new homes in the Mountain West, spanning 7 teams. This week could go to a few teams, with the Falcons gaining 5 commits, Colorado State and Nevada adding 3 apiece, and then Boise State with two. Looking at the quality of commits, this week will go to the Broncos, their second of the season.

Another thing that will begin to happen in June is the return of recruiting camps. These will take place both on campus as well as satellite camps, which caused quite a stir a few years ago.
