The biggest news of the day... CFP expansion is coming!

Here are some details.

Former Lobo coach lands in Canada.

It didn’t take long for Paul Weir to find a new landing spot. After let go by New Mexico, he has agreed to become to new head coach for the Canadian U19 men’s national basketball team. He was previously an assistant on the U17 team, one that won a gold medal in the FIBA World Cup. Perhaps this can be a long-term gig for him.

Skenes a semi-finalist for the Golden Spikes Award

Remember the name Paul Skenes, if you don’t know it already. The true freshman hit .410/.486/.697 with 77 hits, 21 doubles, 11 home runs, 43 RBIs and 49 runs scored for the Falcons this year. If that wasn’t already impressive enough, he pitched too as the team’s closer, throwing 26.2 innings, with a 2.70 ERA and 1.09 WHIP, plus with 30 strikeouts to just nine walks while earning 11 saves in 11 chances. He is a star in the making.

PFF Rankings are out for CFB.
