Happy Memorial Day to one and all!

It’s Monday and we’re back after the weekend. The links keep pressing on, so check out the latest Mountain West and college sports-related news from around the web, plus the original content we have coming your way this week.

The NCAA responds to the Murphy-Sanders bill.

The NCAA has spoken. They do not consider student-athletes employees of the university they attend. Their rationale is it would take away from their primary purpose: earning a degree (which it doesn’t FYI). However, they remained committed to athletes benefiting from their name, image, and likeness in some way.

Ranking Nevada teams in every sport.

Hand it to Chris Murray, who often comes up with creative content in the offseason. This one includes a record of each of Nevada’s 14 athletic programs since they have entered the Mountain West and ranks them. It’s worth the read, even for people who aren’t Nevada fans.

Nevada Baseball wins the Mountain West.

The MWC names a new associate commissioner, overseeing MBB & WBB.

The 2021-2022 Bowl Schedule has been released.
