Nevada Football: 11 TV broadcasts announced

Nevada football will have at least 11 of its 12 regular season games broadcasted for the 2021 season. The only game without broadcast information is its home-opener against Idaho State, which will be announced at a later date.

Five Wolf Pack contests will be televised on CBS Sports Network, five will air on the Fox family of networks and one will air with Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

Nevada will open is 2021 campaign against California on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m. PST. It will air on FS1, as well as its home finale against Air Force — which was moved from Saturday, Nov. 21 to Nov. 20. That contest will air at 6, 6:30 or 7 p.m. — no official time has been set.

The remaining three games on Fox’s family of networks — Boise State (Oct. 2), Fresno State (Oct. 23) and San Jose State (Nov. 6) — will have their television network and time announced at a later date.

The Pack’s lone contest on ESPN+ will be their third game of the season at Kansas State on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 11:05 PST.

Nevada’s first game on CBS Sports Network will be at home against New Mexico State at 7:30 p.m. PST on Oct. 9 — its final non-conference game. It will also air its season-finale on the road against Colorado State at 6 p.m. PST on Saturday, Nov. 27.

Nevada is coming off a 7-2 COVID-19 shortened season, concluded by a 38-27 victory against Tulane in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. It returns quarterback Carson Strong, who won the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year. It will also return a bevy of offensive weapons, including wideouts Romeo Doubs and Elijah Cooks, who is coming off of shoulder surgery.
