Mountain West Announces 2021 CBS Sports Football Schedule
TV news! The Mountain West will once again have a robust option of games on CBS Sports Network. The conference even snagged three more games on the major CBS network. Boise State will play Utah State and San Diego State at 10 AM MT?!?! I suppose sacrifices must be made to accommodate big opportunities for exposure.
Boise State Football gets two 10 a.m. MT kickoffs on big CBS
Again, this was the big news from the CBS announcement. Is this going to replace late kickoff times going forward? Probably not, but this is how it goes. Conventional afternoon, evening start times on major TV are reserved for the powerhouses of college football. If Boise, or other Mountain West contenders, want games on major networks, expect to have to concede on kickoff times.
Nevada football lands five games on CBS Sports Network, all with night kickoffs
Nevada’s vaunted offense will be an evening highlight for college football fans all season, it appears. With two road games against Power 5 foes, a pivotal 2021 season awaits Nevada.
