The Mountain West Conference announced its 2021 national television schedule with CBS Sports for the upcoming season. In total, 32 MWC games will be televised by CBS Sports, three of those contests will be broadcast on CBS.

Boise State will appear twice on CBS, first on September 25 at 10 a.m. MT at Utah State and the day after Thanksgiving on November 26 at San Diego State at 9 a.m. PT. The third MWC game will feature Army against Air Force at Globe Life Field in Arlington Texas on Nov. 6 at 10:30 a.m. CT. All three of those games will be lead-ins into CBS’s coverage of the SEC.

The other 29 matchups will be on CBS Sports Network, nine of which will be non-conference games beginning with Fresno State at UCONN (time TBD) and reigning conference champion San Jose State hosting Southern Utah (7 p.m. PT) on August 28.

Other interesting non-conference games feature San Diego State hosting Utah on Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. PT and UNLV hosting Fiesta Bowl champion Iowa State the same day at 7:30 p.m. PT. On Friday, October 1 at 7 p.m. MT, BYU will travel to face Utah State in the battle for the Old Wagon Wheel.

Some MWC rivalry games that will be seen on CBS Sports Network include the Battle for the Fremont Cannon between UNLV and Nevada on Oct. 29 in Reno. Colorado State travels to face Wyoming for the Border War on Nov. 6. The two Colorado schools, Air Force and Colorado State, meet on Nov. 13 for the Ram-Falcon Trophy in Fort Collins. Wyoming and Utah State will play for Bridger’s Rifle in Bridger’s Battle on Nov. 20 in Logan.

Other rivalry games such as Fresno State at Hawaii (Oct. 2), San Diego State at San Jose State (Oct. 15), Fresno State at San Diego State (Oct. 30), and Boise State at Fresno State (Nov. 6) will all be on CBS Sports Network.

This is the second year of a six-year television deal between the Mountain West, CBS Sports and FOX Sports that began last year. The deal gave CBS 23 games on linear CBS or CBS Sports Network, with up to an additional 10 games available for streaming or linear coverage, along with a minimum of three games annually on CBS and the rights to all road Boise State conference games.

All games on CBS can be streamed on the CBS Sports app or Paramount+ (with subscription) and the CBS Sports Network games can also be streamed on the CBS Sports app.

The FOX Sports Mountain West football schedule will be announced tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. MT, the conference said in a press release. Other broadcast information with Spectrum Sports, Stadium and other third-tier rights holders will be announced at a later date.
